A large event is going on in Ramona tomorrow- Recycling Event and Reuse & Repair Fair put on by The County of San Diego Departments of Public Works and Environmental Health. 
The event will take place this Saturday, Nov 3 from 9am-1pm and will be located adjacent to the Ramona Certified Farmers' Market. 
The Reuse & Repair Fair will host local experts who will provide demonstrations and information on
how to reduce waste and expenses through repair and reuse:
  Demos For The Day Include:
   Home Weatherization: Presented by The Home Depot Escondido, demo at 9am
 Sewing: Presented by Kay White and Linda Friessen, demo at 9:45am
 Bicycle Maintenance: Presented by Kirk’s Bike Shop, demo at 10:30am
 Appliance Repair: Presented by Mr. Ron’s Appliance Repair, demo at 11:15am
 Equipment Repair: Presented by Piva Equipment Repair Services, demo at 12pm
 Automotive Maintenance: Tips to improve your gas mileage by O' Reilly Auto Parts, demo at 12:45pm
Experts will be on hand all day as well as:
 Repurpose common items: Create functional items, gifts, and art/recycled art.
 Kids Activities: Including recycled arts and crafts (supplies provided) and Enviroscape, an
interactive watershed model.
Other locations throughout Ramona will also offer:
 Free tire, appliance, scrap metal, green waste and paper shredding (Ramona High School 1401 Hanson Lane)
Free household hazardous waste drop off (County HHW Facility 324 Maple St)
Drop off for reusable items and food  (Ramona Food and Clothes Closet 773 Main Street)
