Living Local & Green with Solar Power
Our lifestyle search for more practical solar applications began in 1977 when I began working as a manufacturer's representative for San Diego's, Energy Systems Inc. (ESI). We were a leading producer of solar hot water panels which had distribution locally, nationally, and internationally. I was responsible for direct customer field calls, systems designing, market development, as well as, delivering training seminars for licensed building and plumbing contractors. Since we often did solar installations for SDGE, I eventually was recruited to work their as a Strategic Planner.
My commitment to promoting solar energy products today is deeply founded in my beliefs about the positive role which I believe that renewable energy technologies will contribute to a better American way of life. Diversify our local energy resources - united we stand in what we believe will change things for a brighter future.
San Diego Solar Ovens is a natural step for us to take at this time. Join in the fun and sense of personal empowerment and lifestyle enrichment which solar cooking will bring you and your family. It's akin to outdoor cooking fun that's akin to grilling, camping, and hiking applications.
Because of 30 years of solar experience, I cannot help but to advocate for more public education about the practical uses of solar energy; promoting healthy benefits of solar cooking; and distribution of solar ovens, kitchenware, cookbooks, thermometers, and videos. We also support the rights of the private property owner who wants to install a 40 acre solar electric farm on Warnock Road. I think he is a visonary with a lot of hope and courage to step into a smarter future. California passed a Solar Rights Civil Code 714 back in 1980′s to protect the rights of this private property owner A future of naturally generated, solar electricity without the toxic air pollution or risk of nuclear meltdown. Decentralized, power production from local decentralized solar farms is a way toward foreign oil reductions and the development of a new green jobs economy. Best Wishes, Mark.
Aware of the anti-solar opinions of local winery investors, as part of my statement, I am providing copies of factual documentation which demonstrate the overall positive reception that solar projects have received in agricultural investments and viniculture regions across California.

, “More California Farmers Invest in solar power”.
2 .http://www.winecountrygetaways.com/solar-wineries.html which provides a comprehensive list numerous wineries now using solar energy to power their facilities with the admirable approval of their environmentally conscious clientele.
* There’s already too much misinformation, industrial sabotage, and rumor fear-mongering that’s stalled solar’s technological progress and availability. Solar panels are a symbol of America’s independent, clean, economical and green-powered, energy future. I know that whenever I drive past this project, they will look shiny and elegant. It will be exciting to know that Ramona is part of a global movement that’s using progressive, clean, and modern fuels technology.
